Would be nice to have that as a in-game option for both MP and SP, stopping other players and the AI picking up your chosen consist. On some MP servers they have websites that allow people to claim in-sim trains and cuts. Again, this can be changed, stopped, started, edited to your content but it would help fill the SP world and quieter MP servers.īeing able to claim your chosen train/consist. It would get AI trains to pick up loads and haul them to where they need to be. It would help run the Subs that you have availiable. Having the world filled with self-managing industires, it would give the AD things to do. Still able to edit, change, add and remove as you wish. Would just be nice to have the sim set those up itself, based on as real as possible. I appreciate that, once done, they will generate cuts that will need to be taken from here to there. One element that I have yet to really tinker with in v2 is taking a few hours to set up the many industries on the map. Pre-set Industries that generate their own consists. The AD would simply send trains to where they need to go. Why? Well not only would it help those that wish to not dispatch themselves, it would allow AI trains to be given orders without you having to babysit them. I usually just plop a train, pick a random location and say "I'll go there". I love to do runs with a YT video on my second screen. I love how indepth it is, even if I do take it a bit more casual than most.
I'm still very new to Run 8, and I only play SP stuff. By all accounts they started working on it as soon as v2 wrapped up (please correct me if wrong!).
